How to find Residenza San Silvestro

The Residence is very well connected by public transport as it is close to the "San Silvestro" stop, which is located along the Grand Canal. Leaving the calle del Traghetto, turn right and you will enter the field where the church stands and overlooked by our structure.

From S.Lucia Station and Piazzale Roma

Arriving from Santa Lucia station or by car from Piazzale Roma:

take vaporetto line 1 towards Rialto and get off at the San Silvestro pier.
Once off the vaporetto, continue past the archway and turn right where you will arrive in campo San Silvestro and turn right again into Calle where the entrance is located and the sign Residenza San Silvestro is visible

From Marco Polo Airport

Arriving from Venice Marco Polo airport:

By land

Take the ACTV bus number 5 or the ATVO bus for Venice - Piazzale Roma.

From Piazzale Roma, take vaporetto number 1, towards Rialto, and get off at the San Silvestro pier.

Disembark from the vaporetto, continue past the arch and turn right, where Campo San Silvestro is located and turn right again where the entrance is located and the Residenza San Silvestro sign is visible.
Taking advantage of the water service

Take the Alilaguna Orange line service from Marco Polo airport to Rialto.

Once you get off, you can take the vaporetto line 1 and stop until San Silvestro to easily reach our hotel.

Or you can come on foot, crossing the Rialto bridge, continuing to the left towards the Riva del Vin until the end when you will meet the porch on the right and after a few meters on the left the entrance to our structure with the "Residenza San Silvestro" sign.

Taxi service

Given the proximity to the waterfront, it is also possible to comfortably take advantage of the paid taxi service or ride a gondola to explore the canals of the most romantic city in the world.

In any case it is possible to easily reach on foot and in a short time all the places of greatest historical and artistic interest:

Basilica di San Marco is 800 meters away.

Piazza San Marco, the Frari Church and the Bridge of Sighs can be reached in 5 minutes on foot.
